When disaster strikes

Hosted Cloud Services, Technology

I cannot count the times that we have received a frantic phone call or email saying, “911 emergency – our server/network has crashed and we have lost everything!” Of course this is an emergency and a major business disaster.

What would you do, or more importantly – what have you done to prevent this?

Having a disaster recovery plan should be at the top of every companies to do list, it does not matter if you’re a big or small company. Let’s face it – you have spent weeks, months and even years collecting data ranging from spreadsheets, word documents, sales and marketing materials, product specs, accounting information and customer data.

How valuable is that data to you? What will happen if you lost it all later this afternoon?

We field these types of calls everyday. I am surprised, no – actually I am shocked that businesses still take their networks, servers and software for granted like this.

Do you have a disaster recovery plan? I am betting over half of you don’t.

Today, with cloud services – disaster recovery is automatically build in for you.

Our tag line at Raven Cloud Computing is: “Instant Infrastructure with a built-in disaster recovery plan”. Which means – we have you covered.

For a couple hundred dollars a month you can have a complete and fully automated disaster recovery plan – and the best part is, it is managed, maintained and backed up by us. You don’t need to assign staff to this task. At the very least for fifty dollars a month you could have a complete backup solution with over 1 terabyte of storage.

It is so easy, just a couple clicks and you are done – we take care of the rest.

OK OK – the commercial is over.

However, having a disaster recovery plan is essential to foster a health business, especially in times of need.

It is interesting that geographically, where disasters strike – they take their disaster recovery plans more serious, perhaps because they have lived through a few disasters.

Although – the majority of disasters are not from floods, tornado’s, hurricanes and earthquakes – they are from hardware and software failures.

Do you have a plan?

We can provide a Free Technical Assessment, this can be beneficial to new and startup companies that are not sure where to start. You can always find our cloud and hosted services in the right column of this page or by simply going to our website at Raven Cloud Computing.
