Intelligence Committee warns about security threats, pinpoints Chinese tech firms

The Untied States House Intelligence Committee warns US private companies from doing business with Chinese technology companies. Many people are worried that China has become prominent player in the field.

The companies the federal government are most worried about are Huawei and ZTE. The Intelligence Committee also recommended a block be implemented forbidding them from buying any US business.

The report is intended as a warning to American telephone carriers and ask them not to engage with these companies, the reports labels these companies as a national security threat. The Intelligence Committee believes these companies spy and eavesdrop on American private citizens data and conversations, then store and use any valuable information for their and the Chinese governments benefit.
